The Yanvid Imperium is a nation located on the continent of Azul, found off the northern coast
The Yanvid Imperium is a relatively new nation with history still forming. This section will discuss the founding and early history of the Imperium.
The Yanvid Imperium dates back centuries, beginning as a small coastal town that quickly developed into a regional power and eventually an empire through it's use of advanced technology and infrastructural techniques. During an expedition east by Imperial naval forces, a storm struck the fleet, eventually washing the survivors on the shores of Mohammedistan. A town slowly developed on the island, being built directly upon Mohammedistan to create Port Anmadeus. After managing to reconnect with a rescue operation, the town was converted into the main island of the new colonial foothold in the new world.
After news of the new world had reached the mainland, a stream of colonists landed on Port Anmadeus, all hoping to start new lives and seek opportunity. To serve as a base of operations and protect the new town, construction of Fort Anmadeus would begin, the primary base of the colonies. Daily life in this early time was mostly spent clearing the brush of the island for homesteads, setting up farmland, and exploring the caves for resources. Using the ruins of the homes of Mohammedistan, many of the original Port Anmadeus houses would be constructed, with the rest of the materials going directly for the forts construction. Once the town was up and running, scouting expeditions were sent out to survey the nearby islands on information of the region. The initial expedition consisted of the nations of Morigon, Swagistan, and an unnamed smaller island. Future expeditions would scout out Eldorhal and Northern Azul. A plan was soon proposed to annex Morigon to expand the resource output of the colonies, and act as additional living space for colonists. Due to the inactive state of the government of Morigon, the war was quick and simple, with control expanding towards the island. Soon a deal was brokered with Swagistan and it's leader, and it agreed to vassalization under the Yanvid Imperium. Later on, the army would move to Eldorhal and capture it as well. With all of the Kinn Atolls and Castor Atoll under one empire, it'd set a precedent for Azul, and a major sign of the continents emerging significance.
Peace existed for a long time, and life within the Imperium was good. Yet after a raid on Port Anmadeus, the carefree island life came to an end. Tensions also slowly rose with Swagistan and it's town, pptown. The Imperium wanted it to conform more to the nation, insisting on making changes and acting a certain way. Pptown stood it's ground, and defiantly refused to give in, wanting to maintain it's identity. After a while, the Imperium struck, deciding to forcefully take control of Pptown after several insulting remarks and disrespectful actions, even after a lot of patience from the Imperium. Yet after the declaration of war, The Spooderian Ascendancy rushed in to defend Pptown, and so the war evened out. Soon the war would continue to escalate, with the remnants of Eldoria standing with the Imperium, and Yehcourse voicing support for TSA. Now that TSA had the advantage, they took the offensive and struck Morigotha, battling fiercly and defeating Imperial forces. Following the victory, Kabechazzaar would join the war against the Imperium. Negotiations had been pushed before, but the Imperium had pushed them away, refusing to make peace. But after further reconsideration, the Imperium would agree to hand over Pptown and stop any control it tried to press on the town. The war officially ended with the treaty of Pptown.
W.I.P.
The Yanvid Imperium is commonly seen as being a Constitutional Monarchy. The source of supreme power in the Imperium is the Emperor PeacefulExplore. Answering only to the emperor, an elected Prime Minister that is brought to office every month handles many affairs in the nation. An Imperial Council also manages everyday affairs of the nation, but their position is permanent unlike the Prime Minister's. In order of power, the roles go;
Emperor → Prime Minister → Imperial Council → Citizen roles (Imperial Council -)
